I had my second physio appointment today. I got some excellent exercises, and I am grateful for them, honestly! But, man oh man, did they screw up my run! My PT taped my ankle today, so I had to run in this:

I cut the damn thing off a few minutes ago. I know that it is supposed to help with stabilization (and it did), but between the lack of motion and itchy tape, I knew it wasn’t going to be on for long. I also had to do these foot exercises and now I have arch cramps. Yee-OUCH!
Anyhow, my run. It was good and bad. I’ll let you guys figure out what the bad was (see above), but the good was that I was not tired at the end of running a mile. In fact, I barely broke a sweat! I know a mile is not that far, but I really wasn’t tired at all, and I could have easily done another 3 or 4 without the tape. Seriously awesome!
I also made a decision today about the 5K on Sunday. I’m doing it, and I am excited. If I have to walk, then so be it, but if my PT is giving me the go ahead, then go ahead I shall🙂
So, eating was clean, exercise not as plentiful as I would have liked, but it still happened.
Tomorrows plan will include a run (I’m aiming for 4 miles), and a suspension workout.
